Getting older doesn't mean you are too old to volunteer

Some have lost out on this amazing opportunity by being under the mistaken impression that volunteering is just for the young. This could not be further from the truth! Ukutula has customized the experience for the enjoyment of seniors, be they single or couples.

It is recognized that those in the 55-75 year category are not as physically strong as they were in the past, but they are still able to participate in many of the activities of the younger generation. For example, they are able to feed the lion cubs, baby cheetahs and hyenas. These activities have been described by volunteers as some of the most memorable experiences in their lives. Senior volunteers are also able to participate in all the conservation educational activities at Ukutula, not to mention the social interaction between people of all ages and from all over the world.
